Sometimes you can use a connecting activity just for the sake of connecting. Feeling like you belong to the group is a basic human need and one of the three keys to building a Culture of Success. Connecting is a valuable use of time. You can even get creative and link your subject or content into the activity. Energizers are designed to be quick and easy and get the participants moving. Research shows we learn better when we are having fun. Research shows that movement increases blood flow to the brain and can improve learning. That is why DRIVE encourages the use of energizers.
